Is JCC the meaning of "JAPAN CRAZY CRAYFISHERS"?
No, it isn't!!
JCC is the name of "JAPAN CRAYFISH CLUB".
It is the circle which crayfish lovers in Japan gathered in.

But we think
It is certain that we are"CRAZY CRAYFISHERS"...



Four crayfish lovers gathered and JCC was formed in 1993. There was a custom in which children bred a crayfish, in Japan. But, there was no custom which an adult breeds earnestly as a hobby. It was very rare to introduce a crayfish with an aquarium hobby magazine. And we didn't have information about the crayfish. We formed JCC and did information exchange about a crayfish mutually. The breeding technology of a crayfish is improved,It has more detailed knowledge. The member's power was united and the pictorial book of the crayfish was published in 2000. It became the biggest crayfish lover organization in Japan to whom 120 or more persons will belong in 2004. Breeding of some crayfishes was regulated law in 2006. In Japan, the number of crayfish lovers became fewer very much with this law. Although the number of members became below in half, even when it is not breedable, the interest over a crayfish is not lost. There is a rumor that breeding is continued against law or the person who smuggles is also. However, we do not agree with it and both do not act. We observe the law of Japan and act. Breeding is not only a crayfish lover's mission. We solve various questions about a crayfish. It is just the highest hobby and it is because it is pleasure. We welcome the friend of the same thought from all over the world.



The activities of JCC


1. Study tour meeting, learning investigation.

We visit an aquarium and a university, and visit an establishment for study, and take scholar's guidance.And,we do the investigation of the habitat.We do the exchange of the information.A communication often has it by using the Internet, too.

2. Friendship activities.

We gather several times in one year, and deepen friendship.Specially, the members of each place in Japan gather in a general meeting to carry out once in one year.We meet the company whom it can't usually meet when the day comes, and we can do a communication directly.Therefore, many members are looking forward to this.

We hope to have the crayfish lover who lives in the country except for Japan, and friendly relations.We are very happy if you come to Japan.We welcome contact from you.It thinks that a communication has it by using the Internet, too, to be a good method.
